As tech professionals, we were more comfortable with data than due dates. Megan helped us prepare for our son's arrival by setting up our "nursery," which in our small San Francisco apartment, felt more like a closet with a crib. We had way too much baby gear, and Megan helped us keep what would actually be useful. Because we didn't have family nearby, we asked Megan to stay overnight with us for the first 2 weeks after we left the hospital.
