For the last 7 years, I've been a member of Serena Meyer's Bay Area Breastfeeding Support Group. For the last 5 of those years, Serena has been mentoring me in evidence-based breastfeeding education and care. It has been my great honor to be a moderator for the group for 2 years, and plan to continue there indefinitely.
During this time, I have finished my educational requirements to sit the International Board Certified Lactation Consultant Exam, and I'm working closely with Serena to complete my clinical hours.
I have a great understanding on lactation support, which I am happy to share... But I also have a working connection with one of the best IBCLC's in the Bay Area! If something is beyond the scope of my abilities, I can absolutely get you in touch with a knowledgeable Lactation Consultant who can also support your breastfeeding goals.
